SUNDAY kids program

Sunday Kids Church Program

On Sunday mornings at LMCC, kids learn about God and experience his presence within a loving community.

When children first arrive, they are greeted in their classrooms by highly-trained, background-checked teachers. Kids then come together to participate in a time of corporate worship – where they sing and dance and are introduced to that Sunday’s Bible teaching and theme.

After worship, children split up into age-defined groups to participate in an interactive Bible teaching. Kids then break up into smaller groups to explore the Bible story through crafts and application activities. During this time, children enjoy a small snack during which they’re able to connect with each other and their teachers. Finally, kids come back together to end the service with more corporate worship and a final prayer.

Nursery

In the nursery, children from the earliest ages are taught about love and community. Infants through early walkers are cuddled with, read to, and prayed over by caring, background-checked children's workers. Children participate in the worship time with the older kids, bopping their heads and singing along in their happily screeching voices.

Preschoolers

Preschoolers are split into age groups based on the year they will enter school. These groups meet in tent “classrooms” and help foster early relationships between children that will extend through their school years.

Elementary

Elementary children join other children for singing, dancing, and worship. After worship, elementary kids join together to experience Bible teaching through journaling, crafts, and storytelling.
